The occassional chest pains strikes again, only this time it lasted longer than it normally did. And Ms Asthma came to visit. After 8 long years. Puh!
Sitting in that cold observation room, with the oxygen puffer stucked to your face, struggling with the pain, as if someone had stomp on your chest and squeezed on to your lungs till you can't breathe.
You think to yourself. Why ME?
As if dealing with the fact that your monthly S$5/- donation to NKF for the past seven years was infact a contribution to the plumbering maintanence of a gold tap OR petroleum for the organisation's CEO luxurious car wasn't enough for you to handle
OR knowing that donating to the community chest would not help the poverty around the world in your quest to make the world a better place to live in. AND your stuck with the fact that 6,500 children in Kenya is infected by HIV virus every single day and that AIDS itself is rising in numbers all around you.
OR facing rude citizens who cut in the queue while you waiting solemly for a cab in the pour for 15 bloody mins.
OR trying to be nice and make conversations with the nurse and ended up with a snappy one liner.
Cold. The room. The air. The world.
So you sat in there for two long hours facing the wall. With all the troubles on your shoulder, Struggling with the pain And trying very hard to breathe,You're still thinking to yourself, HE is punishing you for all the things that you've done. And for Everything else that you didn't do.
okeh. I'm rambling. There you go Lyz. Happy now. urrgh.
