i've given up trying to sleep. listening to raya songs on warna 94.2(i only tuned to the station during three last days of fasting month) surprisingly chirping me up. hahah. esp the now "balik kampong" song blasting on my hi-fi.

We were breaking fast at food culture, century sq earlier on when the speakers were playing takbir raya... he stopped & looked at me. i grinned & winked. yes awak. it's our first. heh.

i still can't believe it took us quite awhile to find your 'kain samping' just to match the colour of my 'selendang'. heheh. i dunno where i got the energy to brave the freakin huge crowd. geylang was chaotic. and was packed. and it's not even after six. but we both had a jolly good time looking at baju kurungs and all the tasty goodies in the big red-covered round bottles.

to the insanely driven shoppers who's gonna flock the lanes of geylang till dawn for the best buys - SALUTE! i'm not that crazy. heh. hee.

my yearly traditional kuih making sessions with siskabaybee had a late start. due to our busy schedules. but at least we got to make a few variety. and that all matters.

gave two bottles of a different kind, and the brownie cake i ordered from he-man to jib's mom yesterday. in return, she gave me a beaming ear-to-ear smile and an invitation to break fast, of her famous 'soup tulang' with the rest of the family. YaY! and it was sooooo yummylicious. hmm.. come to think of it, along this month of ramadhan, it was more than once, too many, that i had break fast at his place heh. sheeeeeeeesssh. ti-ma-ah-cheh ye MaaaaK.....CiiiiK!! hee hee.

all the green packets for the lil ones are all set on my stereo table. alhamdullilah. figured out that this's the sixth year running i've been giving to those in my family. even though my pay not that much. it's enough lah. my darling niece and nephew are in for a good surprise in their's heh. i can't remember gettin as much when i was young compared to the amount they're gonna get from me later. Lucky bratz!

oh well. Selamat Hari Raya to all. forgive my harsh words & actions, if there is any, halalkan lah my makan & minum semua okie. dammit. i can't seem to write raya greetings in english. & may we always be thankful & contented for the things we have. or don't.

sms-es from ppl been coming in since the start of the nite. and i've yet to reply to any single one. so there you go. heh. hmm... i haven't finish cleaning the toilet, and here i am ranting away. tsk.tsk.tsk.
